Pete Best appearing in New Jersey in October [Posted by Dave Haber on Friday, 08/22/08 7:21 pm] [Full Blog] [Digg This]You may think you're having a flashback to the 1960s if you visit Farnsworth Avenue in Bordentown, NJ in October, as an original member of The Beatles, Pete Best, will perform at The Record Collector in Bordentown on Oct. 12. Pete will be appearing in support of his forthcoming CD release "Haymans Green" in September.
The venue's "small, but clean" PA system and 60-person capacity has meant an enjoyable experience for both audience and artist at the shows held at the site since they began hosting live performances this spring, says concert promoter and city resident Randy Ellis. "It's an intimate little gig, you're sitting in chairs right on top of the artist, everybody's loving it."
Peter Tork will also be appearing at The Record Collector on August 29.
Visit The Record Collector, 358 Farnsworth Ave for tickets, or for more info, check out their site www.the-record-collector.com, or call 609-324-0880. Tickets for the Pete Best show are $22.50 for standing and $25 for seated reservations, and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
